PLANEAT: US Premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival

The US Premiere of PLANEAT will take place on Sunday, April 25, 6pm at the Newport Beach Film Festival. The Directors, Shelley Lee Davies and Or Shlomi, will be coming all the way from London to attend the screening and will hold a Q&A after the film. There will also be a post-screening reception at Avanti Cafe, a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Costa Mesa. Complimentary food and drinks will be served.

About the film: A provocative challenge to our love of meat and dairy - tracking the work of scientists, doctors and environmentalists, the film forces us to confront the evidence that a heavily animal-based diet is bad for our health, the environment and the future of the planet. The film features the groundbreaking work of Dr. T Colin Campbell in China, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn Jr's, and professors Gidon Eshel and Peter Singer. With the help of some innovative chefs and farmers, filmmakers begin a discussion on how the problems we face today can be solved, without simply resorting to a diet of lentils and lettuce leaves.
