Default Disaster in the Gulf

Being a native Floridian, it just makes me ill every time I watch TV now and watch the oil and tar invade some of the most beautiful coastal areas in the world.

I feel so bad for the families of those that died, for the people that live and work in these communities, for the birds and animals, and for the rest of us for having to watch helplessly as attempt after attempt is made to stop the gushing. I know that we have some of the best and brightest in the world working on the issue, but let's face it - this is uncharted territory.

This is certainly one environmental disaster that is going to be felt for years and years.
